HOST's 20th Anniversary

Chairman's Reception
Taking place in the stunning Locarno suite at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Reception was very well attended.
HOST Chairman Mark Pellew (far left) and Chief Executive Caro Hart (far right) greeted guests at the door and welcomed both old friends
and new.
Regional Organisers and hosts came from all over Britain as did former staff, Regional Organisers, Governors, international students and colleagues from the Universities. Also attending were MPs and representatives from the House of Lords, business people and others from the third sector.
Several displays put on to celebrate the work of HOST were of great interest.
Mark Pellew spoke of HOST's achievements in the last 20 years and international student Suzie spoke of how much her HOST visit meant to her.
Dominic Scott, CE of UKCISA, launched the Friends of HOST and became the inaugral Friend and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to HOST.
A particular high-light was a gathering of Regional Organisers for the Anniversary photo.(LHS)
